Painted in 2011 on a Gallery Wrap Canvas that does not require framing for display.
"Square Boxes" - is a painting from my "Box's" series that was included in my Chelsea gallery show "Homage to the Box". Though, in a review of the show (see below), it was referred too as an Abstract work, I view it as a Color Field composition.
"Even more adamantly abstract-appearing ... 'Square Boxes' ... consists of same-size rectangles arranged in overall grids in the manner of certain paintings by Paul Klee". --Gallery & Studio Magazine
Notes:
Priced at Standard plus 50% for the reference made to it in a review of the show from a leading NYC Art Publication.

"Color possesses me. I don't have to pursue it. It will possess me always, I know it. ... Color and I are one. I am a painter." --Paul Klee
