Framed and matted behind glass by the artist.
"Blue" - painted with acrylics on paper in 2003 - portrays an arrangement that I've used in other works of an egg shaped object grouped with three glass vessels (a vase, a wine glass and a pilsner glass) illustrated in varying shades of Blue. It was part of a study regarding limiting my pallet to a few colors that I was considering at the time. Obviously, I abandoned that idea but, should I re-visit it, "Blue" would certainly be one of the colors included.
"Blue" was selected for exhibit in the 2004 State Show at the Art Alliance Gallery in Red Bank New Jersey.
Notes:
Priced at standard plus additions for framing and for selection for display at important State Wide juried exhibition.
